Wondering about how I get the illusion of depth and sheen?

Highlights and shadows?

What materials I use?

This week's video spills it all in entertaining 13 minutes and in just 10 easy steps!!!

Watch and learn now by clicking the video below!
This week's second lesson will roll out tomorrow night (and it's a HUUUUUGE and LOOOOONG, practically LIFESIZE) surprise so you'll just have to subscribe to my channel to make sure you don't miss it!
It's free (as always) so, hopefully it won't be a huge bother. You'll just be getting access to over 300 free art tutorials. Just sayin!
See you there!

Learning so much from you. After having 2 strokes and having RA you have been great therapy both physically and mentally. I'm trying to save up so I can enroll into your classes . Thanks so very much!!!!!

Sheryl that means the world to me! You have no idea how many of my students are in similar situations. So so many. Art therapy may not be what I set out to achieve but it sure is an awesome bi-product of so many yummy projects! I just introduced a new membership to make taking classes a billion times more affordable so I can reach more people, exactly like you (ironically! ). I just posted a video on this on Friday. If you like, you can watch it (it's just a free YouTube video but it explains what it all is). https://youtu.be/WVKisWE3KAA
I'm so glad you're enjoying the tutorials, you're so welcome to join my Facebook Group if you're ever inspired to share them with us! We'd all LOVE TO SEE!! www.facebook.com/groups/awesomeartschool.com. Have an awesome day and thanks for saying hello, it really means a lot!

What Fans Are Saying

Karen, you are absolutely fabulous! You make me feel like I can draw anything. I have recently retired and finally have the time to do some of the art that I have loved since I was in school. I am really at the beginning of my art journey and I hope to learn as much as I can. Thank you for all you do.

-Jill Y.

I ordered your Fun Fab Faces book and loved it! I was having a little trouble getting the noses I wanted and now it's easy! Also, I love how you stressed how important having the three tones in your drawing is. Thanks a bunch!

-Donna L.

Thank you Karen! I never though I could do faces. You broke it down so it was understandable! And I love your book! I got it yesterday! Can't wait to start practicing! It's so much fun!!!!!

Thank you for the encouragement to get back into my drawing and painting. After being away for 35 years.  THANK YOU.
