Happy 2024 Mixed Media Society member!!
I hope it's off to a fantabulous start for you and you're ready to dive into some amazing mixed media art projects this year :)
We're starting January off with a bang by heading back to our Skin Tones classroom. This month's lessons will wrap up our how to watercolor GORGEOUS skin tones unit.
*Product links are affiliate & for U.S. residents only.*
Today's new lesson is how to watercolor beautiful DARK skin tones straight outta the palette. And by that, I mean you dip your brush into the Prima Complexions set and put those colors directly onto your paper :) No mixing, no fuss, just tap into the color and go!
This no-draw project is a GREAT ONE to try if you're just learning how to watercolor faces. There is a template for you to trace in the classroom so you don't have to free-hand anything, and can dive right into your watercolors.
As I mentioned, I'm using the Prima Complexions Set for the face, but you use whatever you have and love! Here's what else I'm using...

What Fans Are Saying
Karen, you are absolutely fabulous! You make me feel like I can draw anything. I have recently retired and finally have the time to do some of the art that I have loved since I was in school. I am really at the beginning of my art journey and I hope to learn as much as I can. Thank you for all you do.
