In case you missed our most recent Happy Hour LIVE art-along, it was SO much fun. We created GATHER canvases to hang on the wall just in time for Thanksgiving! ​Did you get a chance to work on the watercolor scarecrow painting lesson released last week?

I'm obsessed with using sheet music to create mixed media art! Sometimes, it's my substrate and what I want to create right on top of using the techniques shown in this lesson, other times, I love ripping it into collage pieces! 

Dictionary pages, phone book pages, and old book pages of any kind are amazing for art-ing too! BONUS if any of these old book pages have a scripty old-timey font, or if they're written in another language. These features add SO much sophistication to your work.
