Let's Draw & Watercolor a Baby Mermaid in an Adorable Bed of Bubbles!!

Happy weekend!!! I don't know about you, but I'm LOVING Mer-may!!

I'm actually loving it so much I just kept creating Mermaid lessons for you, so we're gonna keep fun Mermaid theme going into June and maybe even July :)

I can't wait to get you started with today's new lesson. First I'll teach you how to draw a sleeping, baby mermaid. Then we'll add some watercolor to color her in.

If you've never used the Graphitint Watercolor Set by Derwent, it's SO cool!! There's a little graphite mixed into these watercolors so they have a bit of a grungey look to them that I just love. As always, you can totally use whatever you have on hand or love most.

I have a couple of other related lessons inside the club if you had fun with today's Baby Mermaid. There's an adorable Bouncing Baby in the Whimsical Women of the World classroom HERE, and I've got two hand drawing projects inside the Hands classroom if you're interested.

I also did a fun couple of lessons at Christmas time last year of drawing expressions in the style of Norman Rockwell if that sounds like fun. We practiced in graphite first, then did a pencil drawing, and put everything together into an alcohol marker project.
