Let's Draw a HOT Merman on Toned Paper in Graphite & Alcohol Markers!

Hey Fun Fab Drawing Club member!!! I hope you're having a fab weekend :) I can't get enough of toned paper drawing projects, and felt our "Breaking Free" mermaid from a couple of weeks ago was just begging for a boyfriend, lol!

I don't know about you, but I LOVE drawing a muscle-y chest, arms, and challenging myself to draw an angular, male face. This lesson won't disappoint!!

If you don't have toned paper at home, don't feel like you have to run out and get some. You can totally use whatever drawing paper you have on hand. You can also skip the alcohol markers if you prefer and do this project entirely in pencil if you want! Use whatever supplies you love most and have on hand.

Haven't Had Time to Draw Lately or Not Sure Where All the Recent Mermaid Drawing Lessons Are?

Not into Mermaids?

Have you spent any time in the Stage 7 Classroom (coincidentally called the Mermaid classroom, but there are no mermaid projects)? This classroom has some really interesting projects that branch outisde of drawing faces.

Here, I give you an introduction to my Quadrant Method, aerial perspective, one-point perspective, and two-point perspective. These drawing styles are SO fun for drawing and sketching landscapes, architecture, and room interriors (which I personally LOVE!!).

You might really enjoy this and love taking your drawing outside to sketch in this warm summer weather if you're a summer girl at heart!
